Reflections

Our group learnt how to apply map-reading skills into practice during the fieldtrip. This would help us in other fieldworks in future.

We also learnt how to draw informative diagrams based on pictures and soil samples we took during the course of the project. This would enable us to improve our diagram-drawing skills.
Due to time constraints, we had to make do with the available resources we had collected such as soil samples from our neighbourhood and information from the internet. In future, we would improve on our time management to prevent such a situation from reoccurring.

Furthermore, before carrying out any activities that would require permission from higher authorities, we should consult the person-in-charge. We encountered this problem during the fieldtrip and were advised to obtain permission from the person-in-charge of National Parks.
